Trunk of Funk is an annual celebration of the seasons. Each autumn, we brew a strong, dark ale on to foraged fruits and age in freshly emptied red wine barrels, where our house cultures work their sour magic. 12 months later we blend back on to the new seasons foraged fruit. Then we bottle, condition and when it's ready, we share that funk with the world. Expect the perfect balance of sweetness and acidity, with depth provided by oak and stone fruits. Much like a funky natural red wine.
